Paph. sanderianum
AQ/AOS
Many years in the
making, all 12 first bloom seedlings were in peak show
condition at the same time for just 5 days! This grex
appears to have captured the rich coloration of the
‘highland form’ with the remarkable petal length of the
‘lowland form’. March 2011. All AQ photos courtesy Jay
Norris.

Easily the finest of
the group, this clone has tremendous deep rich colour on
thick, broad segments of exceptional substance. Boasts
nearly the widest dorsal on record, second only to
‘Rapunzel’, the trademark colour break in the striping is
all but vanished.

Paph. Chiu Hua
Dancer (sanderianum x gigantifolium) ‘Nicole’s Spiral
Staircase’ AM/AOS
Although grown from
compliantly imported flask, this has apparently been
nullified as Indonesia has never issued an export permit
for the pollen used here (??). Amazing and unique petals,
slowly spiraling, unlike any other long petalled Paph. May
2010. Photo courtesy Jay Norris.
