SUPPLIES

PAPH MAGIC TOPDRESS - A must for above average Paph. culture, we are now finally able to offer our own blend of oyster shell and silica sand. One scoop should be applied to the top of a 2-4" pot every 3 months. 5-6" pots should get 2 scoops. You should also mix in a few scoops whenever you repot. This provides a slow release source of calcium, as well as abundant silica for nice strong, shiny leaves - and very happy plants! The slow release calcium also raises the pH slightly that tends to drop with most fertilizers and an aging mix. About 30 scoops per container. $9.99

SANDERIANUM 'PRIMARIES' (one direct parent is sanderianum):

Michael Koopowitz (phillippinense x sanderianum)

The second most awarded sanderianum hybrid, this has proven to be the best parent of subsequent crosses. Free blooming, compact growing, probably the best overall presentation of any sand hybrid. From the breeding program at Shin-Yi nursery, the global hotbed of sanderianum breeding, it is near impossible to get this caliber of genetics out of their breeding program. 30 cm + leafspan, ~2 years from bloom.

$79.99

Booth’s Sand Lady (Lady Isabel x sanderianum)

Excellent clear dorsal, great colour, and fabulous petals. Photo is from one of our customers who wasn’t sure when I said these would bloom in just a few months. Whopping 70 cm leafspan + new growth ~1/3 mature. Very much blooming size….in fact I think I just heard one coming in to spike…..the largest plants of the whole lot.

$99.99
