philippinense ‘Norman’ HCC/AOS x supardii ‘John Junior’ A similar, very rare cross Dragontale (supardii x sanderianum), may be one of the best, least encountered, and therefore underappreciated of the sanderianum primaries. Its broadly swaying petals are truly remarkable. I have tried to reproduce this effect on easier to grow plants using a pod parent with nearly 30 cm petals. Very high potential for this cross. After many attempts, we have finally been able to remake this stellar primary with our best sanderianum and our best philippinense.
